120 Builders and The City’s AOA Were Given Notice and CEO Surendra Singh Has Threatened Legal Action.

The authorities has taken stern action in response to the complaint of the builder or apartment owner association asking for money without a need, instead of providing NOC to the flat buyers. Around 120 builders and unit owner associations have received letters from the authority warning them that stern legal action will be taken against them if any money other than the maintenance charge is asked. 

Making a demand of 1.5 lakh rupees

Residents of a Greater Noida West society protested to the CEO of the authority and Meerut Divisional Commissioner Surendra Singh during the most recent Jan Vishwas Diwas about a demand of up to Rs 1.5 lakh. for the flat’s registration in the name of the buyer, which was also done.

In response, the CEO wrote a notification to the relevant builders and officials of the apartment owner association from the builder department, ordering them to cease all fees other than maintenance right away. In response, the construction department promptly filed warning notices to more than 120 builders and apartments. 

It indicates unequivocally that only maintenance payments made in the name of NOC would be with held from the apartment seller. This would result in strict legal action being taken against any builder or AOA who does it.

Builder and AOA were given 15 days.

Further more, in accordance with section 39 of the UP Apartment, the authority will view a builder or AOA’s failure to issue a NOC within 15 days of the date of application as a deemed approval and permit the transfer of a flat. CEO Surendra Singh has issued a warning that those
